Dr. Peter Acosta Named New FISD Head Band Director

We are pleased and excited to announce that the Florence ISD School Board unanimously approved Dr. Peter Acosta to serve as Head Band Director for Florence ISD. Dr. Acosta comes to us with vast experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels. He obtained his Doctorate of Musical Arts at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Acosta is excited to be joining us and has great plans to help us build an exceptional band program.
