Dear Parents, Staff, Students and Community,
After much prayer and many discussions with my family, I have tendered my resignation to the Florence ISD Board of Trustees and will be retiring from the school business effective January 31, 2023.
After 34 years in the business, it is simply time for me to devote more of myself to my family. It has been my honor and privilege to serve this district for the past 8 years. I can’t say enough good things about this district and this community. I have had the privilege to work with an amazing board and an awesome staff. The relationships we built enabled us to achieve great things. We have weathered some difficult times and have laid the foundation for even greater success moving forward.
My family and I have built a home in the Florence community and will remain here in total support. I want to thank everyone who has supported me and the district during my time as superintendent.
