Congratulations to Ms. Anja Schaefer, Florence High School's Teacher of the year! This is Ms. Schaefer's 4th year as a Buffalo and her 24th year as an educator. Ms. Schaefer teaches English 3 and 4 on level and dual credit classes. In addition to her teaching assignment, Ms. Schaefer has volunteered to serve on various committees and spearheaded the planning of this year's junior/senior prom. Ms. Schaefer has a rare gift of being able to see the student as a whole both inside and outside the classroom and she shares her enthusiasm and knowledge with her students and coworkers on a daily basis. We are so blessed to have her as part of our FHS team!
